The West Point High School Fishing Team has had an outstanding season, showcasing their exceptional skills and dedication. They finished 10th in the state championship on the ABF Trail, securing their spot in the National Championship. Overall, they finished 20th in the state in AOY points on the ABF Trail, making them the top team at West Point High School.
Their remarkable performance includes a significant victory at the Lake Pickwick tournament, where they also achieved the distinction of catching the biggest fish. Among the many teams competing statewide, only three teams from Cullman County qualified for Nationals, highlighting the impressive achievement of the West Point High School Fishing Team.
